Recorded here are the dishes I make, which are (almost) always simple, healthy, and delicious, since I'm an aspiring gourmet who happens to be both very lazy and very health-conscious at the same time. Also recorded here are my experiences with worthy dishes that I eat at restaurants or buy from stores, during my days off as a home cook.
This dish was inspired by a very popular Taiwanese dish "chicken soup with pineapple and bitter melon 鳳梨苦瓜雞湯". I think the soup without the chicken tastes as delicious as with the chicken, if not more. Ingredients:
Pineapple, cut into chunks, 1 cup
Bitter melon, cut into chunks, 1 cup
Miso, 2 tablespoons
Water, 4 cups
Put all ingredients in a pot;
Bring the mixture to a boil;
Turn down the heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
