A common everyday Chinese dish.
Ingredients:
- Oil, 2 tablespoons
- Tofu, firm, 15 ounces, cut into small pieces
- Button mushrooms, 8 ounces, sliced
- Vegetarian oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons
- Sugar, 1 teaspoon
- Boil tofu in water for 2 minutes, drain
- Saute mushrooms in oil until soft
- Mix in tofu, vegetarian oyster sauce, and sugar
- Cover and cook for 2 minutes; add a little water, if needed
